How we write your articles
Simple for you. Thorough behind the scenes.
You choose how many articles, follow each one as it is written and download it as it is released. In between, every article is written by our AI content system — the same one CapraSEO runs for its customers — in six steps, and read by a person before it is released. Lines marked code check are hard rules the system enforces, not requests to an AI.
-
We get to know your business
Before a word is written, we read your site the way a new colleague would.
- Your homepage becomes a short profile: what you do, who it’s for and how you sound.
- Your product and pricing pages tell the writer what you sell — and what you don’t.
-
We find the searches you can win
Every topic starts from real Google data, not from guesses.
- The keywords Google already ranks you for, each with monthly searches, difficulty, search intent and commercial value.
- Off-topic keywords are dropped, and ones too hard for your site’s current authority are marked out of reach — so we aim where you can rank.
- Searches where you sit on page 2 are flagged as quick wins. Searches where Google mostly shows shops or maps are flagged too — an article rarely wins those.
-
We map what you already have
So a new article adds to your site instead of repeating it.
- Up to 150 of your existing pages, read from your sitemap and a crawl of your site.
- A title that clashes with a page you already have is sent back and re-planned. code check
- Your real pages are the only ones an article is allowed to link to.
-
A brief before every article
Like a good editor, we plan each article before it is written.
- The brief sets the target search, what the reader wants, and the outline — every H2 and H3.
- It picks which of your pages the article should link to.
- Every brief is compared with the other articles written for your site. If two overlap by half or more, one is re-planned — ten articles means ten different searches. code check
-
Written by AI, in your voice
Every article is written by our AI content system — clear, plain-spoken, never salesy.
- It writes from the brief, with your business profile and your keyword data in front of it.
- It leads with the answer — what readers, and Google, look for first — and links only to your real pages.
-
Checked by code, then by a person
Code catches what AI gets wrong; a person reads the result before you get it.
- Every link to your site is checked against your real pages — an invented one is corrected or removed. code check
- The article has to be complete — a draft that stops mid-way is rewritten by a different model. code check
- The SEO title and meta description are trimmed to 60 and 155 characters at a whole word, so they fit in Google’s results. code check
- A person reads every article before it is released to you — does it sound like you, does it answer the search, is anything wrong — and sends it back for a rewrite if it isn’t right.
FAQ
Questions, answered straight
Is the audit really free?
Yes. No signup, no email wall, no credit card. Run it on your own site, a client’s site or a competitor’s. We make money when you choose to buy a package — never from the audit.
What do the five agents actually do?
Crawler resolves your domain and fetches your homepage like Googlebot. Technical reads robots.txt and your sitemaps, tests http→https and www redirects, a deliberately missing page and your server response time. On-page checks titles, headings, meta description, canonicals, images and structured data. Keywords pulls your main topics and asks Google Autocomplete what people in your market search around them, and how many keywords you already rank for. Authority counts the sites linking to you and looks your domain up in the top-1M popularity index. Each one reports into the results card; together they produce your score.
Where does the data come from?
Everything in the audit is measured live when you press the button: we fetch your homepage, robots.txt, sitemaps and a test 404 page and parse the HTML. Related searches come straight from Google Autocomplete for the market your domain belongs to, and popularity rank comes from the research-grade Tranco top-1M list. Referring domains, backlinks and how many keywords you rank for (with estimated organic traffic) come from DataForSEO’s licensed backlink and keyword index. The Deep Dive uses the same index for the competitor set, the referring-domain comparison, the link gap and the keyword gap.
What do DR and traffic mean in the publisher packages?
DR is Ahrefs’ Domain Rating — a 0–100 measure of a site’s backlink strength. Traffic is the site’s estimated monthly organic visits. We use both because either alone is gameable: a high-DR site with no traffic is usually a link farm. Every placement must meet the minimum for its metrics group on both.
Are the links safe?
We only place on high-authority, editorially maintained sites with organic traffic in or near your niche, and we check that Google indexes every site before it goes on your shortlist — a link on a page Google doesn’t index does nothing. No private blog networks, no link farms, no site-wide footer links. Anchor text is planned conservatively from your keyword map (mostly branded and natural), and links are built at a steady pace rather than all at once. Straight talk: Google’s guidelines say links bought to influence rankings should be marked sponsored, and a profile built mostly from bought links looks like one. Paid placements are standard practice across the industry and not risk-free; that is why we keep the count small, point every link at a page that earns it, and say so here rather than pretend otherwise. Your Deep Dive also lists the links you can ask for free — a brand’s dealer list, a trade body — before it recommends buying any.
How fast will I see results?
Fixes to existing pages can show up within days of Google recrawling. New content typically needs 4–12 weeks to settle into rankings, and links usually take 6–12 weeks to be fully reflected. That is why the plan orders the work: fix what you have, publish what people search, build authority alongside.
What is the Deep Dive?
A $24.99 report that compares your site with the sites you actually compete with in Google. It finds your 3–5 real competitors by shared rankings, compares referring domains, backlinks and domain rank for each, lists the sites that link to them but not to you (the link gap), the searches they rank in the top 20 for that you don’t appear for at all (the keyword gap, with volume, difficulty and CPC) and the searches you already rank 4–30 for. It ends with a prioritised shortlist — the publishers we’d target and the articles we’d write — and a plain-language summary. It runs live in about a minute after payment, stays online at a private link (also in your receipt) and downloads as a PDF. It is the analysis we have to run before any booking or writing anyway: it comes with the content package at no extra charge, and it is the first step of a publisher package (bought from the publisher card as your $49.95 link plan, credited to the package). You keep the report whatever you decide.
How does the publisher package work?
The package price is the total: Starter (4 links, $499), Growth (8 links, $1,499) or Authority (10 links, $2,399). You pay it in two parts — $49.95 today and the rest only after you have approved the sites (for Growth: $49.95 today, $1,449.05 later, $1,499 in all). The $49.95 buys your link plan: we find the best sites in your market to help you rank — publishers in the right authority band, on your topic, that don’t already link to you. Every site clears two bars: its DR and its organic traffic — the DR band of your package (20–40, 30–50 or 40+) and 1,500+ organic visits a month, whichever package you choose. A high DR with no real visitors is worth little, so we don’t book those; where we have measured a site’s traffic ourselves, our number counts, not the seller’s. From that plan you hand the package to an SEO strategist with nothing more to pay yet; the $49.95 is credited to the package when you order within 30 days. The strategist goes through the candidates with your report open — which sites your customers actually read, which links pass authority to the pages that matter, what each is worth against its price — and narrows them to the links with the best return for the budget, with the target page and anchor text for each. Within about 5 business days you get your link plan, explained: a shortlist with DR and traffic, the recommended sites ticked — swap any of them. Then you confirm and pay the rest of the package, and we book each placement, write the articles and get them published. The package price is the total. The $49.95 buys the link plan, so it isn’t refundable.
What does the link budget include?
Everything from the first search to the live link: finding the sites and checking their DR, their organic traffic (1,500+ visits a month on every site) and that Google indexes them, booking every placement on a publisher marketplace at the best available price, an article for each site written around the best possible keywords for your link, and publication on the site. There are no separate content or placement fees — the budget is the total price.
Who writes the articles, and what do they cost?
Our AI content system, working from the same live Google keyword data as your audit: it picks the best keywords for your site — the searches you’re missing with the best chance to rank — builds a brief for each and writes the article with the title, meta description, headings and internal links done — ready to publish. Every article is AI-written and read by a person before it is released to you. Five articles are $44.95 ($8.99 each); ten are $69.95 ($7.00 each, 22% off per article) — and your Deep Dive report is included in that price, because the topics are its keyword gap. See every step we take.
Which one should I start with?
All three start with the same report, so it depends on what you already know you want. Unsure? Buy the Deep Dive ($24.99) on its own — it shows whether authority (links) or coverage (content) is holding you back, and if you then order a publisher package the $24.99 comes off the price. Want articles anyway? Order the content package: the report is included, and the topics come from its keyword gap. Want links? The publisher package starts with $49.95 for your link plan (credited to the package), and nothing more is due until a strategist has shown you the sites and you have approved them. The free audit already sets each package to the size your results point to, so you know the prices before you buy anything.
How does AutSEO relate to CapraSEO?
AutSEO is built by the team behind CapraSEO, the pay-as-you-go SEO platform. The audit uses the same crawling and analysis approach; the packages are a done-for-you service on top.
Do you store the sites I audit?
The free audit runs in memory; only a slim summary (market, detected keywords, recommendation) is kept for 30 days so an order can carry its context. A paid Deep Dive is stored, so its private link keeps working. We only keep what you send us when you order (your email and the items you picked).
